My story

Woof woof! Get ready for ME! My tail goes thump-thump-thump just thinking about it! I'm Bella, and I'm like a bouncy ball covered in fur! Zoomies in the backyard? YES! Chasey-face with other dog-pals? DOUBLE YES! Even those pointy-eared creatures you call cats, they are fine too! And the little humans? They give the best wiggly nudges!But when all the running and jumping is done, oh boy, do I love snuggles! Warm couch? My favorite! Soft bed? Even better when you're there too! I like to be close, real close. And guess what? I know how to keep things clean inside! My humans say I'm "house-trained" and I like my special den – they call it a "crate." Smart cookie, that's me!Okay, okay, gotta be honest. Sometimes when the yummy food comes out, I forget my manners a little bit around other furry noses. My people are helping me learn to share the good stuff, and I'm trying my best! Lots of happy pats and yummy treats when I do good! What I REALLY, REALLY want is a big outside space – you know, with fences all around? That way, when we go for outside adventures, I can really let my legs go! Less sniff-sniff slow walks, more super-speedy runs!They keep saying "Bella," but sometimes my ears don't quite get it yet. But I'm a quick learner, I promise! I already know how to plop my bum down when they say "sit" (most of the time!). I bet I can learn lots more words if you're patient and give good ear scratches!I'm not just looking for a place to sleep; I want a whole family! A family that likes my happy wiggles, my soft cuddles, and wants to teach me new things. I'm a good girl with a big heart full of love just waiting to give it all away. Maybe... maybe you're the one? Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
