My story

Hi! My name is Bobber and it’s fin-tastic to (virtually) meet you! My foster family says I’m quite the catch, and I think you’d definitely agree. I was rescued with my brother and sister from Alabama. We had a rough start but we were fortunate enough to come check out the land of 10,000 lakes up here in Minnesota where I hear people love to fish!I am a reel-y sweet boy who loves to just chill out and sleep, especially near my foster family. However, I certainly enjoy playing and I am quite the social boy when I’m around people and other dogs! I also love playing with my toys. Not to brag, but I’m really good at going potty outside, I’m a great eater, and I’m pretty smart if I do say so myself. I’ve already learned the word, “sit” and I’m very observant. I love to watch out the window, or sit or lay in the grass and watch people, dogs, or cars that go by. I don’t bark at any of those things either, which makes me a considerate neighbor. I wince every so often at home if I miss my foster humans and want to be right by them, but after some snuggles and some belly rubs, I settle down. I am still getting fully used to my crate but I get along well with other dogs & kids. I also do great in the car and am always up for an adventure! I am a happy, playful, and loving boy that would make a perfect companion to any family. I think we could really tackle this thing called life together. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
