My story

IDGSR Welcomes GLEASON into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Gleason and I'm a giant handsome 4-month old male German Shepherd. I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 4-months old Home - home with a fenced in yard, no apartments or condos Kids - will do fine will kids (8+) Dogs - good with other large breed dogs Cats - NO cats Training - needs full range of obedience training 1. In my short 4-months of life, I have been shuffled around from house to house and kept in a crate for way too long. Thankfully the rescue saved me! 2. I am a bit behind socially, mainly because the previous homes I was in kept me in a crate and never interacted with me. My next home needs to be with a patient person who will help me blossom. 3. I need to be adopted by someone with prior German Shepherd experience, someone who is a strong pack leader and will help me live up to my fullest potential! 4. I am learning how to be a puppy, learning how to interact with other puppers and people. I LOVE to follow my foster mom around, I'll be your giant shadow. 5. I need the full range of obedience training. If you are patient with me and have yummy treats, I'll learn anything you can teach me; it will also help us bond! 6. My next home needs to be an active one! I'm a big puppy and will only get bigger from here. Keeping me healthy & active is in my best interest! 7. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
