My story

Beautiful Moxie was picked up by our friends at Virginia Beach Animal Care. They immediately noticed something was different about her, so they reached out to us so she could get specialized care. She’s under a year old and is believed to have been a breeder dump after they seemingly tried to breed a Maine Coon and a munchkin. What they saw as a failure, we see as an amazing kitty filled with spirit and, you guessed it…MOXIE! 2 of her legs are shortened and her toes curl under, giving the appearance of no feet. She has some mobility issues, so she needs a home with carpet (or rugs) and no dogs because she may not be able to get away if they become too rambunctious. We would also recommend older kiddos as smaller feet may not be aware of her inability to gain traction to avoid being stepped on or tripped over. Despite her physical disabilities, she is so full of life! She snuggles like a champion, plays with toys, and even does zoomies! She loves the older kiddo in her foster home and she would thrive in an environment where someone is home a lot to shower her with all the attention she craves and deserves - which is a lot!
