My story

Hi, I’m Lilly — a 4-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart with stocky legs and a loving spirit. Think of me as a spring flower: steady, sweet, and ready to bloom in the right home.I’m house trained, low energy, and friendly with other dogs. Cats? I haven’t met one yet, so that’s still a question mark.I don’t need much — just a cozy spot, gentle company, and someone to love. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion to grow with, I might just be your perfect pick.Lilly is Heartworm positive and is waiting for a negative test result which can take 2-9 months after treatment. Her treatment has been completed and she will need a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Lilly will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
