My story

Hello everyone!My formal name is Hudson Hayes, but my friends call me Huddy Buddy. I guess that’s because I’m so friendly and playful. I’ve overheard humans say I’m smart, snuggly, and spunky. I don’t know what that means, but the way they say it makes me think I’m a very good boy. I had a rough start being abandoned in Alabama but am loving my new life in Minnesota; I don’t even mind the snow!Let me tell you a little about myself…I am crate trained, housetrained on schedule, and excellent at napping. I’ve worked very hard on those skills and am pretty darn proud of myself. I am also good at walking on a leash and know I’ll be great with more practice. My dream is to find a family looking for a sweet and cuddly companion. If they have some space for me to run and play, that would be awesome, but it’s not a deal breaker. I’m just as happy with inside play, snuggling, and walks. I’m also good with another dog in the house because I have enough love for everyone.If you’re looking for a little shadow to follow you around and a best friend to keep you laughing, I just might be your perfect match! Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
