My story

**Meet Travis – Your New Best Friend in a Tiny, Fluffy Package** Travis is a mellow, affectionate Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a serious talent for cuddling. We’re not exactly sure of his age—our best guess is around 10—but what we do know is that this little guy is full of charm and has plenty of good years ahead of him. Despite being completely blind and toothless, Travis navigates his surroundings with impressive ease. He’s incredibly smart and learns his environment quickly—bumping into something once is usually all it takes for him to remember it’s there. He has some chronic back sensitivity, so he may let out a small whine when picked up, but the vet says it’s nothing serious—just something to be mindful of. Travis is mostly housebroken and wears a diaper overnight, but with consistency and a routine, we believe he could graduate from that fairly easily. He’s got a big appetite, is highly food-motivated, and loves being around other dogs—he’d do especially well in a home with a canine companion.  Above all, Travis is a loyal, snuggly sweetheart who just wants to be near his person. He’d thrive in a calm, low-stress home where he can enjoy long naps, cozy moments on the couch, and the comfort of someone who truly cherishes him. That said, he’s still got a little spark of adventure and plenty of love to give. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will be your devoted bestie, Travis is ready to make your heart his home. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Recent dental cleaning. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.  To apply for Traffic, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available. Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue. Questions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org ##2362795##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Travis, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
