HERSCHEL ~~ Neutered Male, Pit Bull Terrier Mix, Black and White, DOB: 5/20/2015, 74 pounds Get ready to give your heart away and fall in love with this amazing, gentle, loving sweetheart. Herschel is a sturdy, stocky bundle of black and white love! He is social, well behaved, and playful. Herschel makes it his full-time job to greet everyone he meets and does not leave anyone out. LIKES: Herschel is big on belly rubs and giving hugs. He enjoys playtime with other friendly dogs and is in a perpetual upbeat mood! Being around Herschel will put a smile on your face and make you want to spend lots of time with this huggable boy! Herschel is looking for a home with a fenced backyard, cool toys to play with, comfy beds to nap in and maybe another friendly dog. He loves children and would enjoy having many playmates in his life. He is looking for a second chance at a great new life. He is housebroken and does not have accidents in his kennel. **Herschel is eligible for our Seniors for Seniors Adoption Discount. If a Senior Citizen adopts Herschel, we will waive the adoption fee completely and will offer his new owner a 15% discount on all of Herschel's future vet services, food, medications, etc. Give this exceptional guy the amazing retirement he deserves! MEDICAL: Herschel is healthy, current on vaccines/vet services/bloodwork, has a negative fecal test and heartworm test. His adoption fee is $145 and includes a month of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites) to go home with him. Herschel should remain on heartworm and flea/tick prevention for life to keep him happy and healthy.
