Hi! My name is Meg and I am from Arkansas! From her foster: Meg is a quiet, gentle soul with a heart full of love just waiting to bloom. A bit shy at first, she’s slowly learning to trust and enjoy the comforts of home after being found as a stray in Arkansas. She’s happiest right next to her people—whether that’s snuggling on the couch or following you around the house. Meg is doing well with potty training on a schedule but hasn’t quite figured out how to ask to go out, so the occasional accident can happen. She settles quickly in her crate after a few soft whines and walks nicely on leash, though squirrels can be a bit too exciting! Overall, she’s a low-energy girl content with a cozy, calm lifestyle. Meg would do best in a quiet home without young children. She’s done well with older, considerate kids and all adults, and she could thrive as either an only dog or with a calm, patient canine companion. She’s not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is best. With her sweet nature and gentle spirit, Meg is just looking for someone to give her the love and patience she deserves—she’ll repay you with loyalty, cuddles, and quiet companionship.
