Flower

My story

A volunteer writes:Flower is a pretty, all shiny silvery young princess who is part of a very large group of cats, all of them, quite timid.  Flower likes to stay on her balcony where she feels safe. She has remained shy in the shelter environment that does not match her former life and can not fully provide what a quiet, gentle and loving home can offer. Flower soft blinks at the sounds of whispered words and faintly leans her head against my hand as I caress her. I can tell she is a sweet cat  in need of a gentle owner who will make her feel at home, safe, welcome and loved. If you wish to transform a little grey mouse into a happy little tiger, come to the Manhattan Care Center and adopt Flower!Flower was resting comfortably inside her den, appearing calm and at ease. She sniffed at treats but showed more interest in her surroundings than in food. She allowed gentle petting on her cheeks, head, and along her back, though she didn't react in any obvious way. Flower is a sweet and calm cat who may thrive best in a quiet, peaceful home where she can feel safe and comfortable.Flower interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
