My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Koko💞 💙 Kkokko’s Account: @be__my_family 1.Health • Neutering/Spaying: Completed • Other: Microchipped. Likely a Chihuahua mix, so preventive care is needed for patellar health—avoid slippery floors or jumping from high places. 2.Rescue Story • Kkokko entered Gimje shelter alone and was infected with parvovirus due to the poor environment and weak immunity. After hospitalization for treatment, Adogs urgently rescued her upon discovering her near the end of recovery. 3.Personality & Habits • With People: Very affectionate. Even with strangers, she approaches, sits on their lap, shows her belly, and rubs her body against them. With familiar people, she snuggles calmly and enjoys their touch. • With Dogs: Loves other dogs and reads social cues well. Plays energetically with compatible friends but can be scared of larger dogs who approach suddenly. At mealtimes, she sometimes rushes to other dogs’ bowls, so supervision is needed. • With Cats: Shows mild interest when encountering cats on walks but no major reactions. Hasn’t spent long periods with cats. • Separation Anxiety: Initially barked a little when left alone but now waits calmly. Occasionally barks at external noises. • House Training: Fully trained indoors with clean pads; outdoors she usually only pees. • Hygiene/Grooming: Tolerates baths and drying despite disliking them. Loves brushing. Strongly resists nail trimming; best done while asleep, trimming one or two nails at a time. • Walking on Leash: Rarely pulls but may pull if an unholding person walks ahead. Shows interest in animals but quickly redirects to the guardian. Has escaped a harness when scared before, so always use a martingale collar. • Car Sickness: Usually fine but may vomit if ridden soon after meals. • Biting: Never shown defensive or aggressive biting. • Barking: Barks when very excited or at loud external noises. • Likes: Absolutely loves her guardian—stays close while eating, walking, resting, or sleeping. • Dislikes: Very afraid of being held and having nails trimmed, requiring ongoing desensitization training (though slowly improving with being held).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Koko, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
