My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Nacho🌮 Nacho was rescued from a dog meat farm in Gongdeok, Gimje, just before she was about to be slaughtered. After witnessing countless friends taken away, she developed a deep fear of humans. When the ADogs team arrived, she froze in fear, unable to move. But thanks to patience and love, Nacho is slowly learning to trust people again. • With People: Nacho likes people but is a bit shy. She slowly approaches familiar people, sniffs them, and is gradually getting used to human touch. She may flinch when someone tries to touch her suddenly, but she accepts petting and being held well. Lately, she’s become more comfortable walking around even with strangers and allows petting without hesitation. • With Dogs: She doesn’t actively play with other dogs but blends in well and coexists peacefully. During walks, she shows interest in dogs that approach her first but backs away submissively if the other dog is aggressive. • With Cats: When she sees cats during walks, she just watches calmly. • Separation Anxiety: No signs of anxiety when left alone—she rests comfortably. • Potty Training: She does not go potty indoors at all and always 💌 Special Notes 💌 * Shows food guarding behavior around other dogs, needs careful management during feeding time. • During walks, she tends to get scared when encountering bicycles or elderly ladies. She’s also frightened by loud noises, such as those from vacuums or washing machines. ❗Health Status❗ • Heartworm retest scheduled (July 2025) • Currently being treated for suspected dermatitis on her leg

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nacho, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
