My story

Introducing Buckley! He was brought to the shelter on 4/19 along with his bestie, Sierra because their former pet parent was moving and the landlord said no big dogs. Buckley is only 2 years old and weighs a mere 79lbs. The volunteers describe his as sweet, cute, and obedient. He is a bit confused right now and that is understandable because he has been placed in a scary place that is not home. Volunteers are spending time with him to make him feel more comfortable. With some patience, guidance, and lots of love and time, he will blossom out of his shell. He is also a smart cookie as he knows sit when asked. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 78; his ID is 9475. He is waiting for you! Please help his find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Please keep in mind that he is a breed that requires activities that keeps them mentally and physically active so they never, ever return to a shelter. So please make sure you have the time, space, and lifestyle that ensures Buckley has stable life growing up. Buckley is also house trained, dog friendly, and good with children. Buckley is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Buckley is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for her forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
