Introducing Poppy! Sweet Affectionate Silly Velcro-Dane Hi, I’m Poppy! I’m a sweet, silly girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for snuggles. I’ll follow you from room to room just to stay close, and I’m always ready for a cozy nap by your side. But don’t let my mellow side fool you—outside I’m all about rolling in the grass, zoomies, and goofy playtime! I’m a people-loving Dane who especially adores women. I can be a little shy around men at first, but with a gentle introduction, I warm up quickly. I’ve been super gentle with kids and don’t mind their energy, though sometimes I like to retreat to my crate for a little quiet time. I love playing with other dogs and enjoy good-natured wrestling and romping. I do not have experience with cats. Likes:• Playing outside and zoomies• Snuggling on the couch and watching TV with my humans• Car rides and tasty treats• Wrestling and rolling around with doggy friends• Toys, toys, and more toys Dislikes:• Men in camo or without shirts• Loud or startling noises I’m housebroken and crate-trained. I do bark a bit when I’m crated and hear someone at the door, but I’m otherwise a pretty quiet girl. I know “sit” and “shake” and I’m working on my leash manners—I just get excited when I smell something interesting! My recall still needs work, so I should always be on a leash or in a secure, fenced area when outside. I’m in great health with no current concerns. Forever Home Wishlist:• A physical fence is recommended unless my family is committed to recall/boundaries or will take me out on a leash• A home where I’m not left alone for more than 8 hours• A dog buddy would be great, but I’m just as happy soaking up all the love as your one and only Fun Fact: I love playing outdoors, especially in the sandbox!
