My story

Meet Pistachio! Pistachio is the sneaky little trickster of the bunch. Don’t let his innocent appearance fool you—he’s a clever little guy who loves to play the role of the cute, quiet pup, but he’s actually quite mischievous behind the scenes! Born to an overwhelmed owner who surrendered his accidental litter, Pistachio has quickly learned how to navigate his way through life with a smile and a playful attitude. He enjoys playtime with his siblings but can often be found in the middle of a game, trying to convince them he’s the innocent one, even though he’s secretly the mastermind behind all their fun! Pistachio is a curious and adventurous pup who will keep you on your toes and fill your home with endless love and laughter. He’s ready to find a family that will keep up with his playful tricks and love him for his sweet and spirited personality. He was born in February 2025 and is being fostered in Pennsylvania! OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS, COLORADO, OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
