My story

Charlie is a playful, energetic 2 year boxer/hound mix who loves to run and play with other dogs. She has a lot of energy and would thrive best in a home with active companions or other dogs. While she’s not aggressive, she sometimes doesn't realize her size around kids and may accidentally bump into them or play too enthusiastically. Charlie just struggles to understand how to play gently. We are rehoming her because we can't keep up with her energy while caring for our 1-year-old. She loves our child but is too energetic around him. We’re hoping to find a home where she can get the exercise and attention she needs, ideally with other dogs, and where she can be monitored during active play with kids.
