My story

This sweet and friendly guy is Mittens, a playful and affectionate kitty looking for his next home. Mittens has a great personality—he’s social with other cats (especially his brother Sully, who’s also up for adoption!) and loves a good round of zoomies when he’s in the mood to play. Wand toys are his absolute favorite, and he’ll happily chase and pounce to his heart’s content. Mittens is a bit of a bedtime snuggler—he’ll ask for pets as you’re winding down and then cozy up to sleep in bed with you. He thrives in a calm environment and can be a little nervous around young children, so he'd do best in a quieter home. Come meet this charming guy and see if he’s your perfect match! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours. All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
