Meet Lynyrd, a lovable 10-year-old cat with a heart full of potential! Lynryd might be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and time, you'll see just how sweet and affectionate he truly is. He enjoys being pampered with gentle petting and will reward you with his calming presence and soft purrs once he feels comfortable. Though he may take a little while to adjust to new surroundings, Lynyrd thrives in a peaceful, low-stress environment where he can feel safe and secure. His foster found that loud noises scared him and he'd dash under the couch. He may take his time to get to know you, but once he does, he’ll be your loyal companion, always happy to curl up next to you for some quiet bonding time. Lynyrd has lived with other cats before, and was pretty nonchalant about his foster's cats. As a mature cat he may not appreciate the playful energy of young cats and may do best with older felines. Lynyrd's foster said he can't stress enough what a great cuddler Lynyrd is. He’s very sweet, very smart and is a joy to be around. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. This cat has specific litterbox needs. When you bring this cat home they will need to be set up in a room by themselves. This cat will go home with a behavior plan that you will need to follow in order for them to use the litterbox reliably.
