My story

Hi, I’m Benjamin B. Bicklebaum—but you can just call me Benjamin! I’m about 2 years old and have just the right mix of playful energy and cozy cuddles. I absolutely adore friendly dogs and cats, and I tend to show my love by snuggling up real close… sometimes on top of my friends to stay warm. So, my forever family should be patient—and okay with a bit of affectionate squishing. At night, I prefer to snuggle up in bed with my humans, but I’m happy to relax in my crate for meals and downtime. I have a soft spot for toys and nylabones—honestly, the more the better! I’m a bit of a goofball, and I know how to keep things fun. Before coming to my foster home, I hadn’t seen much of the outside world, so things like kids and busy streets are still a little overwhelming for me. I’d feel most comfortable in an adult-only home where things are a bit calmer. Now, I’ve got a special skill: I’m a bit of a fence-climber. That means a backyard isn’t really my thing—but don’t worry, I love going on walks! Nature parks and neighborhood strolls are the best, especially with my best buddy Roadie. He’s my walking partner, playmate, and snuggle buddy—we’re kind of a package deal. Twice the fun, twice the love! I’m a little different from Roadie in that I get weekly coconut oil massages and baths (it’s a spa life for me), plus I get eye gel throughout the day. But I don’t mind one bit—I get cookies every time! We’re both hoping to find a home that will be patient while we settle in. Once we do, get ready for nonstop love, laughs, and snuggles!
