My story

Meet Dixie! Dixie was recently rescued from Pinal County where she was scared and stressed in a very overcrowded shelter. Since being with us in boarding, Dixie is starting to come out of her shell and show her personality. While shy at first, once she warms up she's as sweet as can be, even soliciting affection! Each day she is getting more comfortable and confident. Dixie walks well on leash and is potty-trained. She is working on learning her basic commands and to trust new people. Dixie is known to be dog-friendly with proper introductions. She would do best in a home that will allow her time to decompress, settle and build trust. With time and patience she will be the most loyal and loving dog!
