My story

FOR ADOPTION: TANZEY is a stunning 4 year old, approximately 50lb female mixed breed that is looking for a forever family that will treasure her. This pretty girl was left behind when her previous owners moved. As devastating as that was for her, she’s still very open to the idea of finding love again. Tanzey is a friendly, affectionate dog that gets along well with people of all ages and genders. She’s had very limited socialization prior to coming to NWAS but she is very open and willing to meet any new people she has come across… people with treats are her absolute favourite. Tanzey is a little cautious when meeting new dogs but has been very respectful and slightly submissive in all of her interactions so far. Tanzey is able to play amicably with other dogs but is just as happy to be the only dog when she is out and about with her people. Tanzey has also been respectful and gentle in her cat testing and she could likely do very well in a home with small animals as long as her new pawrents were able to do slow and controlled introductions. Tanzey is a super fun medium to high energy dog that will happily keep up on long hikes, bike rides, skiing etc. She is also quite intelligent and very eager to participate in training sessions. If you’re looking for a dog with potential in rally, agility, disc, etc this could be your girl. Tanzey is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control.
