Bernadette- $125 Adoption Fee!

My story

Thanks to a generous grant from the Robert H. Reakirt Foundation, my adoption fee is partially sponsored! My new family can take me home for $125. Meet Bernadette! This sweet 3.5-year-old Lab/German Shepherd mix is 60 pounds of love and goofball energy. Bernadette is a loyal girl who adores her people and thrives in a home where she gets to be part of the action. Bernadette's got a big personality and a playful spirit—always ready for a walk, a game, or a cuddle. While she can be a little nervous around large new men at first, her submissive nature and eager-to-please attitude shine through once she feels safe. With proper introductions, she warms up quickly! Bernadette does wonderfully with her foster dog siblings and would do great in a home with other playful pups. She’s still working on her manners and could benefit from consistent training, so an active home that’s ready to help her keep learning and growing would be perfect. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion with a heart of gold (and some goofy shepherd zoomies), Bernadette might just be your girl! To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
