? Meet Bonita — A Brave Calico with a Big Heart ? Let’s talk about Bonita. ??Bonita is a 6-year-old Calico who was surrendered to PAC when her owner moved. We were told she was a feral cat who had lived in a bedroom for four years and only tolerated her owner.That… was not the case. Bonita wasn’t feral — she was scared. When she arrived, she growled (classic Calico sass ??) but never tried to bite. Staff were able to pet her right away. She just needed to feel safe.?? Important Info: Bonita is FIV positive.She would thrive in a quiet, patient home where she can take her time to feel safe. She may hide at first and give a little hiss if surprised—but she never acts aggressively.?? Why fostering matters: Shelters can be overwhelming for shy cats like Bonita.
