My story

Pluto, your next out of this world best friend! This hound mix may share a name with a planet (or a cartoon dog, depending on your vibe), but Pluto is 100% original. She was a bit rough around the edges when she rocketed into rescue life, but thanks to good lovin and snacks, she’s landed safely on Planet Cozy. At 5 years old, Pluto’s already lived a few lifetimes’ worth of adventure. She came into rescue painfully skinny and unsure of the world around her, but she’s been steadily gaining weight, and confidence, since finding her groove in her foster home. Pluto has done great living with her furry foster siblings, enjoying to hang with both cats and dogs. Pluto LOVES to cuddle up with her foster dog siblings for a snuggle. Her early days in rescue were marked by nervous accidents in the house and some anxious chewing. She’s since blossomed into a joyful, energetic pup who is getting in the groove of being indoor, and who’s ready for her forever home. Pluto hasn’t had a single accident in her current foster home. Pluto has caught onto kenneling quite quickly as well. She walks right in without protest. She may let out a little protest bark in the first few minutes of being alone, but settles down like a star for the night. Pluto is fully vaccinated, spayed, HW negative, and microchiped. With energy to spare and a nose that never quits, Pluto is on a mission to sniff every single inch of Earth—starting with your yard, your couch, and probably your dinner. She’s curious, clever, and ready for adventure.
