My story

Approximate Date of Birth:8/1/2024 Description:   Hi I'm Emerald! Emmy for short. I'm a very sweet, cuddly, and adventurous girl! I love to cuddle and sit on my human's lap, but I also love to play and run around just as much. I enjoy spending time with my human and I like playing with other cats too! I have a big heart and lots of love to give, as well as a sweet and soft meow that comes out occasionally! I can't wait to find my forever home and bring joy and laughs to my new family! Words to Describe Me: Affectionate, loyal, cuddly, and playful. Favorite Place to Sleep: Next to owner Favorite Toy: Anything that rolls - little balls especially. Perfect Day: My idea of a perfect day would be to start off the day with a yummy breakfast, play with my toys, owner, and other kitties in the home, watch TV alongside my human on the couch, and lastly, cuddle with my human and fall asleep next to them! Kitty's Likes: Cuddles and sitting on laps. Kitty's Dislikes: No dislikes that I know of. Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Hold me or cuddle with me. Favorite Treat: Deli turkey, sliced up in little bits! When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: A chef! I love to eat! Good with Cats: Loves cats. Good with Dogs:  Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met a dog). Good with Children: Unknown, but optimistic (has not met any children). Companion Animal:  Requires a companion animal if home alone for a long time. Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match.
