Push Pop is at our Everyday Adoption Center (1101 S Canal St). You can visit our Everyday Adoption Center at any time during open hours, no appointment needed. Fill out our quick adoption survey on our website before visiting to streamline the process. Push Pop is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Push Pop is still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need one additional vaccine after adoption to reach full immunization Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Push Pop: Housebroken: Working on it! She has been good at using potty pads indoors, but has been nervous to potty outside so will need to keep working on this with patience and a solid routine! Crate trained: She has done well in her crate overnight, and in a puppy play pen when home alone. Leash walking: She is still working to build up her confidence on leash and would benefit from continuing to work on this with positive reinforcement. Dog social: She has been friendly when encountering other dogs Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: Unknown Push Pop likes: - Playing with and pouncing on her toys - Napping in the silliest, pretzel-legs positions - Cuddling with her person Push Pop is an absolute joy to have around. She is super sweet, funny, and playful. When she is excited she hops around like a little bunny and likes to jump on her toys. She loves to be close to her people. She would be content sitting in your lap playing with a toy all day. She LOVES to be cozy and sleeps in the cutest positions. As long as she has a blanket in her crate she will sleep through the night. She also goes into her crate willingly. She is still learning to potty outside, but is great about pottying on pee pads indoors (goes straight for the pads when she has to go, no accidents on any carpet). She gets a little nervous outside because the leash and all the noises/scents are new to her. She is a little mouthy (she's just a teething little baby), but is easily redirected when switching out whatever she wants to chew on with a toy. Push Pop will do best with an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings. OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. Push Pop's adoption fee is $350, and this sweet little lady is excited to grow up in her forever home!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Push Pop, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
