My story

Buddy is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Buddy is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support More about Buddy: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: He has done well with free roam when home alone, for up to 8 hours Leash walking: He can be reactive to some strangers and other dogs on walks, and has been working on this with positive reinforcement training! Dog social: He has done well in living and playing with well-matched dog pals Cat social: Unknown, but he has shown prey drive and is very curious about small animals on walks. Kid friendly: He has done well with dog-savvy and respectful older kids after a slow intro period. He is likely not a match for younger kids, given his timidity with some new people. Buddy likes: - Being complimented on his perfect brows - Playing fetch, and tucking his tennis ball in for a nap in his blankets in between rounds - Showing off his impressive repertoire of tricks! ** Check out more Buddy content on Instagram @dis_buds_4u ** Buddy is the ultimate nature-loving, fun and brainy sidekick! Buddy's personality is a perfect blend of exuberance and relaxation. He'll gladly join you for a game of fetch, for as long as you're willing to toss the ball, but he's also content to have some independent playtime. He is also super smart and loves to learn and use his brain, so would thrive in a home where he'll get plenty of mental enrichment. While Buddy may take his time warming up to new faces, a little cheese and a game of fetch is all it takes to earn his trust. He quickly forms strong bonds once that initial connection is established, and he will then be your super devoted BFF.
