My story

Meet Marcellina! Marcellina entered Los Angeles Animal Care and Control's Lancaster Shelter as a stray. After no one came to claim her, we scooped up this sweet girl to become a Frosted Face on April 13th. Marcellina is about 14 years old and weighs 10 lbs. Marcellina went on a 3-day Frosted Field Trip with one of our volunteers. Here is what we learned: "Marcellina is an adorable little girl and very easy to care for. After we got home, she ran laps around the house exploring for a while. Then, after only after holding her for a couple minutes, she was following me around and chilling with me on the couch. Marcellina liked all the food and all the treats that were offered to her. She was completely fine with the other 5 dogs in the house. She loved being outside and walking around the yard. I gave Marcellina a bath, and it was as easy as it could be. She was completely comfortable with getting a bath and getting toweled off. When I had to leave home for a little while, Marcellina just slept. She was also very quiet throughout her stay with us." Very good girl Marcellina is back on-site and ready for a forever home!
