My story

This handsome boy is Jet! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 4/6, and no one has come to reclaim him. He is noted to be dog-friendly, though, so perhaps his family discovered that he ended up at the shelter and decided not to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Jet as friendly, playful, and attentive. He knows several commands, including sit and shake. Jet is approximately 4 years old and weighs 62 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Jet in run 801; his ID # is 9221. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
