My story

Introducing sweet mama Luna! She and her baby girl Skye were on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 3/13. Skye has now been adopted. Luna is 4 years old and weighs in at 63 pounds. She knows to sit when asked. She is a perfect lady on the leash. She clearly loves her baby and is very patient with her. Luna is ready to be taken care of. Sadly, she is heart worm positive. Would you be a hero for this Mama? Ask for ID# 8713 Run 49. She will be payed soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. She has tested positive for heart worm. With treatment, however, dogs who test positive for heartworms usually go on to live long and healthy lives. Ask the shelter about the option of fostering to adopt while Luna undergoes treatment. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
