My story

Meet Diane, a 6(ish) year old sweet and gentle soul with a heart as big as the farm she used to roam. We stumbled upon Diane fairly quickly when we got to the farm where she had been living. As soon as a car was in park she would run up and wedge herself in the engine compartment for warmth. Even on the farm she allowed us to pet her while she was eating a tasty snack. Now that she has experienced indoor life, she is a mellow feline that is the epitome of a loyal companion, always ready to nuzzle against your leg while purring, in a show of affection. She loves to follow her foster mom around her room while she does chores. Her friendly demeanor makes her a perfect fit for a home with other cats. She warmed up quickly to her cat foster siblings. She's a lover of comfort, often seeking out the soft embrace of a cat bed for her leisurely cat naps, where she can rest- no longer worrying about predators. Diane is still adjusting a bit to her new life indoor. Loud noises or quick movements can still trigger the flight response she needed on the farm, but she comes back out for attention pretty quickly after being startled. Diane's past life as a farm cat means she's adaptable and resilient, characteristics that only add to her charm.
