Name:  Heather        Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of April 2025        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  45 lbs   Gets Along With:  Heather does great with other dogs and has lived with children ages 6 and 10. Her interaction with cats has been limited to a friendly attempt to play the time she met one - she might do best with dog savvy cats, and we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters.    Currently Living at:   DC area home   All about Heather:   Heather arrived into our care as a tiny puppy in the summer of 2023 and was adopted out quickly. She has been living the good life as a well-loved family dog since then. Through no fault of her own, she now needs a new home.   She's eager to once again have her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up. Making pup pals along the way would be great too. But there's one thing much higher on her wish list - belly rubs! Her previous humans say she is full of playful, loving affection for every person she meets. Her vet agrees and says she is SUPER SWEET! (the capital letters are hers). She adores all people.   Heather is a young girl, full of zoomies and all that awesome spirited energy. She has so much joy and love to give her forever family, and promises loyal companionship for all her days. They all will be so lucky to have each other.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
