She`s housebroken, crate trained, and knows several commands like sit, shake, and fist bump. She’s the perfect mix of quirky and comforting, happy to hang out while you go about your day, offering quiet companionship.She came to HSHC after her longtime owner, who found her back in 2019, could no longer care for her. It was a heartbreaking goodbye, but PJ hasn’t lost her spark, and she’s ready to start her next chapter with someone who sees her for the gem she is.PJ walks a little funny and prefers short strolls followed by long naps in the sun. She has arthritis in her knees and does best with pain meds, joint supplements, and a cozy bed, but she’s still mobile, curious, and full of personality. She’s done well with kids in the past, but because of her creaky joints, she’ll do best in a home with older kids or adults who understand when she needs a little space.PJ has a way of turning ordinary moments into something quietly magical.
