My story

Sandy is a stunning 68-pound Lab mix with a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes. At 3 years old, this gentle girl has already been through a lot—most recently, bringing 12 adorable puppies into the world. Now that her mama duties are done, it’s her turn to be loved and cared for.Despite being homeless until the middle of May, Sandy greets every new day—and every visitor—with a happy tail and a hopeful heart. In the short week she has been with her foster mom, she has learned to sit and lay down and is starting to come when she is called, and is getting used to being on a leash. Did we mention she is also potty trained?Sandy is ready to leave her past behind and become a cherished member of a forever family.
