My story

Margo came to us at one day old along with her mama Maeve. Maeve was not none to be pregnant and suddenly had a singleton puppy in her kennel. Our local intake shelter reached out and we went to pick her up later that day. They have been a true treasure and journey to have apart of the CRA family. Margo is growing every day and as funny as can be. She is definitely going to be a large girl and is looking for a home that is ready for that! We are unsure of her breed, however she seems to have some shar-pei in her if we had to guess because man the rolls on this girl are impressive and we count them daily. Don't even get us started with her jowls. Margo is starting to show her personality more and more daily. She is a mix between no chill and all thrill, and all chill no thrill. Best of both worlds some would say. She is not shy to let you know what she wants whether that is a good nap, food, play time or just a nice smooch. As any other puppy her forever home has to be prepared for all things puppy. This is including but not limited to potty training, leash training, continued socializing and more. She is currently working on pad training because she is too young to be fully vaccinated and keeping her safe is our priority. She is working on socializing with people and dogs of all sizes. She would love to have a fur sibling but it is not necessary at this time. She is currently in foster home and will remain there until 9 weeks old. If her forever home is selected prior to then it should be known that her adoption would be around or after 4/22 because of her spay appointment. Her adoption fee will include her spay, age appropriate vaccines, deworming, first preventative and microchip. Margo is being fostered in Chicago and is eligible for adoption within 3 hours of Chicago. If you are interested in being considered her forever home please apply directly. If you have any questions before applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Margo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
