Meet Sleepy – a sweet, snuggly guy who’s looking for a home where he can be the one and only feline in your life. Sleepy came to us after not getting along with the resident cat, so he’ll be happiest as your sole furry companion. With his people, he’s an absolute lovebug—he adores being petted, getting chin rubs, being picked up, and curling up in bed with you at night. Sleepy is also a big fan of food and treats, and his playful side comes out when the toys appear! He’s done well with older kids who can give him the attention and playtime he enjoys. While he can be a bit nervous with new people at first, once he knows you, he’s all affection and charm. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly, and playful best friend who will keep you company both day and night, Sleepy might just be your perfect match. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
