My story

Hi, I'm Alfie! I'm about 6 years old and weigh 8 lbs. Best guess is that I am a Yorkie/Maltese mix. I was very dirty and matted when I arrived, so foster mom gave me a much needed bath and diy grooming. Please don't judge by hairdo. Foster mom is a nice enough lady, and she feeds me yummy food and snacks, and lets me cuddle with her on the couch, but grooming is not her best skill! I get along with the other dogs in my foster home, but I could easily be the only dog. I love playing with small squeaky toys, and I am deligent about removing that annoying squeaker! I am not a fan of being crated, but I'm ok being crated for short periods of time. It helps to leave me with a kong filled with frozen peanut butter. Foster mom broke her rule and allows me to sleep in bed with her because I didn't like to be crated, even though right next to her bed.
