Papa Schnitzel

My story

Meet Papa Schnitzel! Papa is a sweet boy that is still learning to trust people. He's not used to getting love after having to fend for himself outside. He loves to give head butts and rub against legs and is even starting to accept some light pets on his head. He's quick to let you know when he's had enough touching! Papa loves to eat and has become used to getting his wet food breakfast every morning. Food seems to be the way to this boy's heart as he's become more friendly with staff who have been giving him yummy treats regularly. He still only accepts very minimal petting from his trusted people but he loves to show his affection by "petting" you! Papa gives a good headbutt and loves to weave around legs, making sure to rub against you with his chubby cheeks. Once he has learned to fully trust someone he may feel comfortable enough to receive the love he deserves. He hopes to have a home that has a safe property for him to go explore and then come home and reconnect with the people he loves the most. Papa has swatted a few visitors who have come to see him, so we are limiting who can visit him. If you're a cat savvy person who is fluent in cat body language you might be the friend that Papa has been waiting for!
