Meet Cory – A Gentle Soul with a Heart Full of LoveCory is a 7-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd who weighs just 12 pounds, but his quiet presence speaks volumes. This shy and sweet little guy is still adjusting to all the new sights and sounds of the world around him, but he’s already showing how much love he has to give.Cory is a gentle spirit who may take a little time to warm up, but once he feels safe, you’ll start to see glimpses of his personality shine through. He enjoys calm environments and would thrive in a patient home that allows him to come out of his shell at his own pace.He gets along with other dogs and finds comfort in their presence, so a home with a calm and confident canine companion could really help him continue building his confidence.Though he`s shy, Cory is incredibly sweet and kind-hearted, and every tail wag and quiet glance is his way of saying he’s grateful for your love. With time, care, and consistency, Cory has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly.
