My story

When Apricot was a tiny little kitten, her mother told her that her brother Tangerine was a special little guy. Her mother knew Tangerine was going to need a little extra help in this world. After all, he’s an orange boy. Apricot’s mother told her that she needed to look out for her little brother. Before Apricot left for rescue, her mother reminded her of that quest - to always be her brother’s hero. There may have been a little eye rolling but Apricot promised her mother that she’d take care of him. Apricot takes her duty to look out for her brother very seriously. She makes sure to taste his food before he is allowed to eat. She double checks his toys to ascertain they’re fun and safe. She verifies that his napping spots are comfortable. She befriends his friends to confirm that they’re good kitties. During her down time, Apricot likes to look out windows to watch the world go by. She’s very inquisitive and loves to do things no other kitty has thought to do before. Apricot is super gorgeous and prefers if human hands only touch her after she gets some treats. She’s working on her trust of humans. She’s been too busy focusing on her brother to think about her own self improvement. Tangerine is quite bonded to his sister. He needs her to show him how to do everything. Apricot and Tangerine need to be adopted together. Apricot & Tangerine are currently in foster care. Please contact our adoption specialists at adoption@kittyrevolution.org or submit an application to meet them.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Apricot, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
