My story

Meet Bumi (pronounced "Boom-ee")! Bumi is an approximately one-year-old, ten-pound Chihuahua mix available for adoption through Chi Town Rescue. Bumi was surrendered to the rescue when his former owner moved. He is used to living his life in a home and has had a difficult time adjusting to shelter/kennel life. Bumi is a shy and sensitive guy who takes a bit to warm up to new people and new situations. Because of this, we feel he would do best in a home with no small children. Bumi is leash-trained and enjoys going on walks. He has a moderate to high energy level and loves to play fetch or chase his dog friends around the yard. Bumi is also happy to sit in your lap (once he knows you) and get pets. If you've been looking for a buddy for you and your dog at home, and are willing to give a shy dog some time to warm up- come meet Bumi! Bumi's adoption fee includes neuter surgery, vaccinations up to date including Rabies certificate, and microchip.
