My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!Jade is a sweet cat who was lying calmly in the cubby and enjoyed all petting. She leaned in gently for cheek, rubs and raised her rear when pet along her back. Then she alternated cheeks with more cheek rubbing and was partly coaxed out of the cubby with squeeze up. After eating the squeeze up, she went back in the cubby and groomed herself. Jade interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.A volunteer writes: Jade is truly a sweet girl who is making the best of her situation. Jade was brought to us by her family when they were unable to care for her. Jade is said to be fine with both cats and dogs and warms up within 2 weeks. They said she is playful, loving, yet independent. All of this was in alignment with what I experienced with Jade. She was extremely sweet and curious. She accepted head pets and indulged in treats provided to her. I found Jade to be a pretty mild tempered kitty who would be a great addition to most families!
