A volunteer writes:All ebony Baby was surrendered into our care with Stitch, a blind kitten, as their home counted too many cats...Baby's owner described him as a super lovable pet who loved to cuddle and shadow his family. Sooo sweet! He would be a little shy at first with strangers and play gently with children and his housemates. Baby has been quite timid at the care center. He gave me a little hiss the first time we met...Baby slowly but surely improved(see his video). He leans now into pets and purrs, occasionally even making biscuits. Treats will get him out of his cubby. Patience is the name of the game and will reward your efforts. Shelter life has been tough on Baby...He needs a home sweet home to be once again a happy and thriving Baby! Baby is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center!I lived with children in my previous home.I have lived with cats in my previous home.I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.Baby tolerates attention and petting but after a little while overstimulates and began hissing. We will continue to monitor him to see if his behavior determination may be changed with time. He may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Primary Color: Black Weight: 9.7 Age: 3yrs 0mths 3wks
