My story

Poppy is a super sweet 1-2 year old girl looking for a foster or furever home in the Los Angeles area! Poppy was found in Kern County with injured back legs and was picked up by the shelter. She was scheduled to be euthanized and was pulled just 1 hour before she was about to meet her demise. Poppy suffered pneumonia shortly after intake, but is fully healed like the strong girl she is! She is awaiting her double leg surgery which will be covered by the organization and donations from the community. She still walks around with her back legs, but goes on shorter walks at this time. Poppy is a super sweet girl who gets along with everyone. She is dog approved, great with all humans, and has potential to be with cats due to her calm and chill demeanor. Poppy is an easy going lady who will be a great addition to any home. All supplies are provided to Foster's. Poppy can't wait to meet you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Poppy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
