My story

Meet Cabo – Your Future Shadow with a Wagging TailCabo is a 10-month-old German Shepherd mix with soulful golden eyes. This sweet and spunky pup is the total package: smart, affectionate, and just the right amount of goofy.He’s already mastered “sit” like a pro and is currently working on “come” – though if you have treats or a kind voice, he’s usually halfway there anyway. Cabo is leash-savvy, food-motivated, and genuinely wants to please his people (especially if it comes with ear scratches).Excitement sometimes gets the better of him, and he may show off his kangaroo impression with a little jump here and there. But don’t worry – with continued training and a little patience, he’s well on his way to being a polite gentleman.Cabo’s favorite place in the world? Right next to you, leaning his full weight into your leg like a warm, furry security blanket. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts cuddle bug and adventure buddy, Cabo’s your guy.Ready to meet your new best friend? Cabo can’t wait to lean into your heart.Cabo has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  He`s also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
