My story

 Meet Howlie, the fun-sized pittie with a big personality! This medium-sized bundle of joy is all about living life to the fullest. Playful and confident, Howlie holds his own with the big dogs and loves nothing more than romping through playgroups or engaging in a friendly wrestling match. Whether he`s zooming around the yard or catching a ball mid-air, this guy knows how to have a good time. But don’t be fooled—beneath that playful energy is a total sweetheart. Affectionate and lovable, Howlie is always ready to settle in for some cuddles after a big adventure.Like many social dogs, Howlie struggles with the isolation of shelter life. Inside his kennel, he can seem rambunctious—but outside, he transforms. Once he’s out and about, his true personality shines through. He’s hoping his future family can see past his kennel behavior and discover the affectionate, fun-loving dog he really is. Give him a chance to prove he is the perfect companion for all your adventures—whether it’s hiking, running, or just cruising around town.Howlie has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  He`s a helper dog in shelter playgroups, which means he makes new dogs feel safe and welcome.  He`s also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
