My story

Dane is the epitome of an orange tabby—chaotic, unpredictable, and endlessly entertaining. One moment, he’s soaking up affection, purring like a motor while basking in chin scratches, and the next, he’s zooming across the room in a whirlwind of energy. His playful antics and mischievous personality make every day an adventure, and he keeps his humans on their toes with his spontaneous bursts of craziness. Despite his wild side, Dane is full of love and never turns down a good cuddle—at least until his next scheme pops into his head. He’s the kind of cat who will headbutt you for attention, only to instantly dart away to chase an invisible foe. With his larger-than-life personality and boundless energy, Dane is the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys a little chaos with their cuddles. He will need slow intros with dogs. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
