My story

Requirements: - Must have a quiet home- Kids in the home must be 8 years or olderMeet Candy, a beautiful 3-year-old Tabby with soft, medium-length fur. Early on, Candy was a little more reserved, hiding for nearly a month and needing time to get used to the sights and sounds of her new environment. She’s a gentle soul who’s come a long way since joining her foster home. It took her a full 6 weeks to feel comfortable enough to show her true colors, and now she’s thriving, though she still needs a patient and understanding family to help her adjust to a new home. She used to be frightened by the vacuum cleaner, hiding for days afterward, but now she’s much braver and will come out as soon as the noise stops. Candy is not a lap cat, but once she trusts you, she loves being near you—especially for brushing sessions or simply relaxing by your side. She enjoys watching the world go by from her favorite spots by the window and will often purr contentedly while doing so. While not yet interested in toys, Candy is very happy to lounge around and observe her surroundings. She also loves eating and will follow you anywhere for treats!Candy would do best with an adopter who is patient, calm, and willing to give her the time she needs to adjust to new situations. She’s a sweet, loving companion who just needs the right family to show her that the world is a safe, welcoming place.
