My story

Ginger: Fast, Fabulous, and Figuring It All OutMeet Ginger, a 3-year-old beauty who’s still getting used to this whole “safe and loved” thing, but oh wow… she’s catching on fast.Ginger came to us from an overcrowded shelter with a rough past and a shy heart. Her frame is skinny, her history is hard to think about.. but her spirit? It’s unbreakable. And every day, she’s learning that people can be kind, beds can be soft, and life can actually be fun.She’s sleek, stunning, and a little silly. She LOVES other dogs (and is not above flirting with her handsome neighbors — looking at you, Moby and Max). She’s starting to enjoy gentle pets, and she’s slowly discovering that human touch can bring comfort, not fear.Ginger is currently heartworm-positive, but Animal Aid will cover the full cost of treatment after adoption. She just needs someone to believe in her - someone with patience & kindness.She’s not the kind of dog who’s going to jump into your arms on day one.
