My story

Hi, I’m Sawyer—a laid-back guy with a big heart and a big purr to match. I’m the kind of cat who likes to take things slow. I can be a little shy when I first meet someone new, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I turn into a total sweetheart.One of my favorite things to do is lay in a sunny spot and look out the window—I take my job of guarding the apartment very seriously! I also love string toys, lounging around, and snack time (Churus are the way to my heart). I’ve got some seriously silly facial expressions, and when I’m happy, I roll around on the floor like a little dog and make biscuits in the air while I purr like a motor.I’m not a fan of vacuums, and I don’t love being picked up by people I don’t know well—but I’m very affectionate once I trust you. I’ve met a dog before and was a bit shy, but I didn’t have any problems. Mostly, I just need a patient, gentle family who’ll let me come out of my shell at my own pace.If you’re looking for a mellow, quirky little buddy who will reward your patience with affection and loyalty, I think we’d be a great match. Let’s take it slow and become best friends.
